Harp Therapy Workshops & Educational Offerings
Martha offers workshops to educate audiences about music and the healing process. She discusses and demonstrates various ways we can use music to relax and calm our inner selves. Therapeutic music played with intention can be used for stress management and to renew energy.
Workshop topics for various audiences:
- Music for Hospice Care – learn how therapeutic music can change end-of -life care, support hospice patients, family and providers. How to create a “ Cradle of Sound” for transitioning patients, family and medical staff.
- Harp used in Healthcare – Harp Therapy in critical care, pre and post – op, NICU, ICU. Therapeutic benefits in healthcare.
- Healing through the Science of Sound – how therapeutic harp music and vibrations can have positive affects on your body, physically, physiologically, spiritually and mentally.
- Modes for Moods – What makes music therapeutic? Musicians can learn new ways to interpret music.
- Recreational Harp Therapy Programs – ways to incorporate music into Long Term Care and Retirement Residences.
Martha Lawrance, Harp Therapist, shares her experiences in various health care settings with live musical examples, which demonstrates her role in the healing process.
